Van ’t Westende Fruit is one of the largest pear growers in Western Europe. When a sorting machine had to be purchased for the fruit growing business, the choice was clear: a Gorman-Rupp Super T-Series pump! No discussion.
At Metsä Wood, tree trunks are received for further processing into a wooden end product. The trunks must be kept moist for a period between 9 months and 3 years to prevent deformation and cracking.
A paper mill uses various types of pumps for heavy-duty applications. The pumps previously in use required frequent maintenance. Since the installation of the new Gorman-Rupp pumps, maintenance costs have dropped significantly.
