PAV Series

Do you need a dry-priming pump that can handle heavy solids without clogging? The Gorman-Rupp PAV Series pumps are designed for demanding applications in construction, industry, and municipal settings. Thanks to their vortex design, they provide an unobstructed flow path, minimizing clogging and reducing wear. Priming is fast and consistent via a compressor/venturi system or a high-capacity diaphragm priming pump. An optional TPAWS system is available for even faster results in challenging conditions.

With above-ground access, these pumps are easy to inspect and maintain on-site. The PAV series is built for long-term use, handles large solids, can run dry without damage, and resists wear in harsh environments.

Vortex Design Hydraulik

Tangential discharge and a recessed vortex impeller ensure a smooth, uninterrupted flow. This reduces blockages and premature wear.

Fast priming and repriming

It uses a compressor/venturi system or a high-throughput membrane aspirator. Add the optional TPAWS system for faster and more reliable aspiration – even under challenging conditions.

Dry-running capability

Oversized, oil-lubricated shaft seals enable continuous dry running without the risk of damage.

Removable swivel mechanism

Only four screws are needed to remove the entire rotating unit – without disconnecting any pipes or affecting the pump housing.

Double bearing protection

An atmospheric barrier and double lip seals protect the bearings, extend their lifespan, and allow for quick visual inspection.

Multiple drive options

6400VA pumps can be combined with an IE4 electric motor or a Stage V diesel engine.
