Gorman-Rupp Europe is part of the international Gorman-Rupp Group, and we are looking for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to strengthen our design department.
What Does an Electrical Engineer Do at Gorman-Rupp?
- Design DC and AC control systems and panels
- Improve processes and standards
- Enhance product quality
- Manage projects to ensure timely completion
- Assist customers with questions and troubleshoot problems
- Program PLCs
- Ensure that electrical design and implementation comply with all applicable regulations
- Create supporting documentation
- MBO-4 or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Technology
- 4+ years of experience in this field
- Familiarity with IEC-61439-1 and 60204-1 standards
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and/or French
Bonus Points for Candidates Who:
- Have experience with pumps, motors, and VFDs
- Have worked in mechanical engineering or machine building
- Are familiar with IoT applications in mechanical systems
- Have knowledge of ERP and PDM systems
